As we embark on our second century at Queen Margaret’s School, we pause to consider both our past and our future, thereby allowing us to evaluate where we are at this moment in our journey. Our Founders had a unique and exciting vision for a new school back in 1921. We can only imagine what a challenging road this was for them to navigate. Their tenacity of spirit is still evident all around us on our beautiful campus as we bear witness to a School that is thriving.

We have just finished a year where so many things have been different and many experiences have been difficult, and yet we are welcoming so many new families into our community. We are flourishing as we approach our third year of being a fully all-gender school. We are in the midst of a period of growth where the energy and enthusiasm are palpable throughout our community and our campus.

The Board is entrusted with shaping the School with a vision for the future, and our momentum is building. We completed both the extension to the Primary and the TLC buildings this year. We are well into planning the new Sports Hall to house more indoor athletic space for our growing population while we are creating new spaces for the Fine Arts and reconfiguring the Shirley Burr Equestrian Centre. Our vision is to create a campus and a School that flows well and utilizes our entire footprint to enhance the whole educational experience of our students for generations to come.
